An IA & a Blogger

Walking around the trade show I met up with Christina Wodtke, the publisher of Boxes and Arrows and author of Information Architecture: Blueprints for the Web. No idea who she was at the time, she was just very friendly. We talked about how the LOVEFiLM navigation could be improved. e.g. How can you browse Action/Adventure when there’s 4,000+ titles, no one will scroll through page after page, we need more context and texture. On top of a richer taxonomy; Christina recommened using a folksonomy as well.

Blogger Margaret Mason was doing a book signing of No One Cares What You Had for Lunch: 100 Ideas for Your Blog. I’m new to blogging, it’s looks worth a read.
